at 1st i thought it's jz a normal movie surrounding 2 individuals competing on the lead role in the swan lake where ballerinas life should be beautiful & relaxing... but i'm totally wrong on this, it's totally different from what i expected, a movie that drags you into it, where you feel like you're a part of it, living the life of the actors, breathing the same air as they are, experiencing the emotions going through you...Black Swan is a psychological thriller film that revolves around a production of the Swan Lake. The production requires a ballerina to play both the innocent White Swan and the sensual Black Swan. One dancer, Nina (Natalie Portman), is a perfect fit for the White Swan, while Lily (Mila Kunis) has a personality that matches the Black Swan. When the two competes for the parts, Nina finds a dark side to herself.
this is the very 1st movie that i felt so intense, the movie doesnt has many actors/actresses like others, & mostly surrounding the set in the studio or Nina's house, it's just not the typical movie that i would usually pick... it's Nina's determination & struggles in fighting for the role of queen swan that attracted me, my eyes were glued on the screen for i wouldnt wanna miss anything out, it's the fast pace of it that makes my heart beat keep increasing, makes my mind going crazy when Nina's hallucination appears out of a sudden, it's kinda like horror movie where i fear the blood dripping scene the most, yucks!
when i stepped out of the cinema, i still felt like i'm Nina, the one who has a dark side in myself, who's willing to do whatever it takes to get the lead role... izzit true that every human being has 2 sides in them, the good & the bad... this movie is definitely something worth watching, makes u go crazy for 2 hours & you'll start thinking about your life & wondering what's inside you...
~Natalie Portman is the Winner of the Oscar Lead Actress Role, congrates!~
